Hey everyone! We're excited to share the news that the full physical proof is in and approved! Here are some pictures with how the game looks, and the components.

The Subtitle Text in the UV Spot Coating looks GREAT!!!
Rulebook on top with folded map right below it.
Markers in the well. There are tokens and a plastic bag also included.
Core Box with ALL Expansion Packs. How will all that material fit in that box!?!
All gameplay material in the box! Map and Rulebook go on top and fit perfectly!

Production Update
6 months ago – Fri, Oct 27, 2023 at 03:37:12 PM

Hello Door-openers!

The game is currently being manufactured. This is a huge step! We were waiting to post this update until we had the production sample of the main game in hand. We don't have that yet, but it's time for an update. What we do have to show off is the expansion packs. They look great as far as we are concerned.

Tweleve small card packages with the Home key logo showing creepy images fit to each pack's theme.
The stretch goal expansion packs for Home.

With stuff coming off the machines, the obvious next question is "when will they arrive?" Guessing is always fraught. Will they arrive in November, as we wanted? Almost certainly not. Will they arrive and move to fulfillment in 2023? Hopefully. We will continue to update you as we know more and when that production sample comes in, we'll open it up on camera.

In the meantime, here's the first of several interviews planned with the creative team behind Home. First up is an interview with Benito Cereno about his Haunting Tale; The Last Judgement. Really, though, we mostly talk about the Monster Cereals. Which, if you know Benito, is no surprise at all.

Thank you, as always, for your support.

Blank Proofs and Production!
8 months ago – Tue, Sep 05, 2023 at 07:56:32 AM

(FYI, we've been alerted to a slight issue with the print and play files, so you all should be receiving an updated file this week. Now back to the update)

Blank Proofs are in. Though they aren't necessarily the most exciting thing in the world, they do give us a look at what all the components will look like in the box. We have one slight change to the box insert we're going to request, in order to facilitate storage of the expansion cards, but other than that, this looks good! Check out these images below!

Print and Play Files Available Now!

Print and Play SENT!

You all should have received an email with links to DriveThruRPG for complimentary copies of the Rulebook and the Print and Play files. Download them and check them out! Everything else is in with the factory, and they're going through proofing. They found an issue with the image resolution of one card back, but we think that is all resolved now. We can't wait to get a physical proof to show you! We'll do an unboxing video and we'll take a ton of pictures.

Garbage & Glory

Many of you are already backers and aware that our campaign for our Fantasy RPG told through the eyes of Raccoons foraging through your trash is charging along full steam ahead! It's going strong and will wrap on Saturday, August 19th at 10 PM. Check it out HERE and consider backing and/or spreading the word!

FILES TO THE FACTORY!!!
9 months ago – Tue, Jul 25, 2023 at 07:35:21 AM

Factory Fun!

Wow! After some changes were caught in the editing process which required a pretty heavy lift by our Graphic Designer, we're finally able to get these files to the factory for their proofing and build. We're moving on to the Print and Play files next. We stated earlier that since this is such a card-heavy game, the print and play file is going to be daunting, but one thing I've learned from being in this industry is that those who love PNP games also take joy in the crafting of their own versions. I look forward to seeing people's versions of HOME they make!

There is one specific part our designer did which I LOVE! He hid a message across the game cover in the UV spot coating and I think it's absolutely genius. In the image below you can see the words across the middle of the box. Normally the magenta words are a template for a gloss coat over words which exist on the print layer. In this on instance across the middle, these are going to be gloss words just over the main image. We thought it was appropriately spooky!

Garbage & Glory

Those of you who follow our projects and various members of our development teams may have already heard, but we launched a project today for our +One line of games. If you think you'd like a traditional fantasy game told from the perspective of garbage stealing trash pandas, Garbage & Glory just might be the game for you. You can learn all about it HERE!
